Ulster County's Stone House Tavern, located in the hamlet of Accord, has garnered a five-star rating on Yelp.

There seem to be many favorites from reviewers, and nightly specials and smells draw you in.

Some include truffled pot roast and little neck clams with pancetta, chorizo, bacon, tomato, onion, and a white wine and garlic sauce. Others go for the seafood, thinking bourbon-glazed salmon and jumbo shrimp with garlic celeriac purée.

Here's what Michelle D. had to say on Yelp this week: "Stone House Tavern is my favorite place to go for great food. We have had many of the entrees and found every one of them to be delicious ... We often choose Stone House Tavern as our place to treat family and friends to a great meal in a wonderful setting."

But don't think all the food is fancy; it's not. There are burgers, steak sandwiches, salads, pasta, and, hey, even meatloaf.

You'll also find homemade desserts and a lovely hill behind the restaurant, where you can dine outside during the warm months.

And take-out, yep, take-out with a drive-up window, and oh, live music to dine by.

Here's what Linda C. said on Yelp: "Always delicious food. We came to hear Kurt and Cheryl play. Had rib eye steak with lobster - fabulous!"

The service is excellent and friendly. The prices are moderate to high. The place is kid-friendly. There are good drinks; just look at Yelp.
